Kasey H. McNamara
Having tried over 100 cases—dozens to juries and dozens more to the bench—Kasey McNamara is at home in the courtroom. She joined Mitchell Banks in 2024 after spending a decade with the Fairfax County Public Defender, where she was eventually named that office’s Senior Trial Attorney. Kasey has extensive experience with complex scientific and forensic evidence, as well as with both the presentation and cross-examination of sophisticated expert witnesses. She is equally comfortable arguing a motion to a judge as she is explaining a technical concept to a jury, and just as adept at defending her victories on appeal as she is handling high-stakes litigation. A graduate of Arizona State University and the Phoenix School of Law, Kasey brings her expertise and client-centered approach to help her clients navigate their most difficult professional and legal challenges. In her free time, Kasey enjoys spending time with her husband and children and taking her dogs on long walks.
