Susan has tried nearly 100 jury trials to verdict and is at home in the courtroom, with a confidence borne out of her command of the law and evidence. She has received many accolades throughout her career, and was selected by her peers as “Lawyer of the Year” in medical malpractice law – defendants, for the Washington, DC metro area in 2012, 2018, 2020 and 2024.
Matt is licensed to practice in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia and has long been AV rated (signifying “preeminent legal ability” and highest ethical standards) by Martindale Hubbell. His analytical skills and calm, confident demeanor have earned him a reputation with his clients and fellow counsel as an effective litigator who never loses sight of the civility and professionalism that is the hallmark of the great tradition that is the profession of law.
Kasey brings a wealth of courtroom experience to Mitchell Banks. She served for a decade with the Fairfax County Public Defender, rising to serve as Senior Trial Attorney. When the stakes are at their highest, Kasey consistently rises to the occasion. With a keen understanding of trial dynamics, Kasey excels in front of juries with a professional, commanding and persuasive presence.
