Susan L. Mitchell

Susan’s legal career started in 1994. Since 1998, she has devoted her career to the representation of healthcare providers in state and federal courts, in matters before the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission (birth-related neurological injury cases), and the Department of Health Professions. Susan studied philosophy and political science at the Pennsylvania State University, where she was a four-year Renaissance Scholarship recipient. She then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she sought out and excelled in coursework and activities related to trial and appellate advocacy. When not practicing law, she can be found on Smith Mountain Lake or cheering on the Nittany Lions.
